Luck o' the Irish
After a full day at the library, pretending to work hard on a report, I met up with a few friends for a night out in the Irish pub, O'Hanlons. The owners of this pub did a great job deceiving people, as there was no line up until you went in and it says "Please enter through Copper Kettle." As you head in through those doors you see a massive line up of green. Sure, we could have stuck around and stood in this line up drinking green beer, but we all knew we weren't going to move anywhere. We knew this would only lead to us being slobbering drunk, but yet never end up IN the pub. So, we head to the other Irish pub in town, only to find the exact same thing. One of the girls decides to head home and it was just me and Mae left. We headed to another low key pub, and you could tell Mae was anticipating greasy pub grub and booze. A bit disappointed we were when we found out the kitchen was closed. Our night of boozin' had turned into a wild goose chase around the city to find somewhere, anywhere, that we could get into. Once that place was found, we didn't want anything but food and a comfy couch. No luck for us gals. That led us to our next plan of action: an order of dry ribs and some H&P pizza, a blanket, and some Dain Cook! Who can ever say a night with Dain Cook is a bad thing?? It turned into an overall good night! As I hadn't really spent a whole lot of time, just me and Mae, it was fun to just chill out. It was a definitely well earned night of just chilling, but I do believe more nights on the town, where we actually get to hit the dance floor, are esssential!! Maybe in a few weeks... when we all need a break from studying for the very dreadful finals coming up soon!

Idiot Drivers
Did you know it's illegal to not slow down while driving through puddles when there is somebody walking down the sidewalk? Well, the shithead who drove like a maniac through the puddle and covered me in dirty slush from head to toe obviously didn't know. Or maybe he did know, and that is why he continued to drive as fast as he was so I would be unable to get his license plate number. Jerk. It made my day, actually. It added to my already fantastic day. There couldn't have been a better way to end my Friday. Idiot.
Speaking of idiots.... you have to read this article that was in the LeaderPost yesterday.
Driver denies being drunk, blames unicorn Associated Press Published: Thursday, March 15, 2007
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP)
A Montana man told police not to blame him for crashing his truck into a light post -- it was that unicorn behind the wheel. Prosecutor Ingrid Rosenquist said Phillip Holliday initially denied driving the truck involved in the March 7 crash in Billings. He told officers at the scene a unicorn was driving, she said. Holliday, 42, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to felony charges of criminal endangerment and drunken driving. A pickup truck drove through a red light and nearly struck another truck in the intersection, court documents said. The driver then made an erratic U-turn through a gas station, crossed the street and hit a light pole. Nobody was hurt. District Judge Gregory Todd kept his bail at $100,000.
C'mon... a unicorn? He could have at least come up with something legitimate being behind the wheel. Like a one-eyed lion or a legless elephant. A unicorn? Everybody knows there isn't such a thing.

Long time gone...
Well well well. I am back. For a bit. The last few weeks for me have been absolute hell. In two weeks I have had 4 midterms to study for and write, 2 - 10 page papers due, 2 assignments, one of which I think being held at gunpoint would have put me at more ease than doing the assignment, and a 12 page lab report, which was completely unnecessary for the course, but because the professor is a bit loopedy-looped (to use nice terms) she demanded that this WAS necessary. Yes, maybe it was beneficial for somebody who plans to proceed to grad studies in Psychology, but not necessary. And even if it was, this somebody is NOT me. So, miss hyperventalating chirpy bird who gives an extension to the whole class the DAY it is due, this is why I do not like you. Seriously, she gets so excited about her material that she literally sounds like she is hyperventalating in front of the class every day. And she rambles... oh man, does she ramble. About nothing. Sure it might be interesting material and comprehendable if she slowed it down to something less than 329030292 words a minute. And why the hell do you give an extension the day it is due. The good students works their arses off to get it done ON TIME. And no, they are not wanting to take their papers back after they already handed them in to do one more revision. It is done, and I never in my life want to see it again. Thanks.
Alright, update on my life... apart from school. Not alot really. I did get a tour at City Police with my Sparks group. It was AMAZING. Who can't say yay to a bunch of young, good looking cops walking about in uniform? Yummm. They took us into the shooting range and I got to hold one of their big rifle type guns(ya I'm not an expert so have no idea what it is really called). We also got to meet one of the dogs, Bear. He was sooo cute. And probably listens better than anybody I know. We all yelled out "Come Bear" and he proceeded to open the car door and come to us!! It was awesome!! What dog can open a door?? Sweet. Then he 'attacked' another one of the officers who was a 'bad guy', but he only attacked on command and when he was commanded to stop he did just that. He cornered the bad guy and just growled. Told to go to the car, and he did. I want a man in my life that listens that well.... maybe that is why I'm single, because there is no such thing as a man who listens. They showed us where they keep the surveillance cameras, which was probably the best part.... because it was right across from their coffee room, where all of the mouth-opening, jaw-dropping men in uniform were. And there was a really cute cop who kept giving me a cute smile.... so I wasn't going to complain.
A few weeks ago I attended the BuckCherry concert in the city complements of my friend who won tickets. We started out at The Drink night club, where B.I.L.F, and trust, there is only one of the members who is truly that, played. Look below at the picture to see. Nothing gets better than a man who looks pretty AND can play guitar and do vocals at the same time!! We then proceeded onto a rowdy, beer smelling, packed full bus of drunk BuckCherry fans. Their show was amazing, although they did not play "Slit My Wrists" which is by far my most loved song of theirs, and probably one of the most common thoughts amongst the student population right now. I ran into a few old friends, which was awesome. Seems to be the only place I ever see them is concerts, but seeing a friendly face in a crowd of 1000 potsmoking, beer guzzling obnoxious freak kids is more than comforting. After the show we went back to The Drink for more B.I.L.F, not that I needed to hear much more of them as I've heard them at least 10 times prior to this night.
Last night I went to Thornley, also at The Drink and also complements of a friend who won tickets. Well, a boyfriend of a friend who won tickets. My plans were to be completely wrecked and be anything but sober after a few weeks of hellish school. But, when I found out that the only beer I could drink was Canadian because it was a Molson sponsored event, and that to drink this beverage that tastes like pee mixed with a bit of apple juice cost $4.50 a drink, I decided against my idea of getting ridiculously stupid, beyond the point of a 2 day recovery. My decision stands as great, because God only knows what kind of trouble I would have got myself into. The concert was great without dancing drunk on tables and flirting with every cute bartender there. As they played "Beautiful" there was a guy who kept trying to get me to dance with him. Sorry to break it to you dude, but you would not be what somebody imagines when they hear the name of the song, and grabbing my butt and telling me my boobs look good while you stare at them is not going to help you out. Here, I also ran into a guy I used to have a crush on, but all he could do was talk about his ex-girlfriend. Maybe this is my own fault that things never worked between us, but seriously, I wanted to talk to him ABOUT him, not about his ex. Oh well, it was never meant to be I suppose.
Alright, my life has been recapped for you, so I'll leave you with that and a few pictures.
The only bilf in B.I.L.F

Things seem to be somewhat looking up. A week off of school is a wonderful thing, although there's piles to be done. But at least I can do it at my own rate and am not completely being forced to do it RIGHT NOW because it isn't due in half an hour. That is the upside to that. Also, another upside is the weather, its finally warming up, it's sunny and bright out! About time...
Another joy in life is Super Nintendo. Last night I spent 4 hours playing Super Mario All-Stars with a few of the girls. It was a great night, filled with laughter and lotsa junk food! It was exactly what I needed after a day of moping around wishing the world could end because I felt like it. I've been not focusing so much on school, which gave me time to think about how much boredom my life really consists of. I'd love to hang out with some of the girls, but it just seems nobody is really up for it. Thank goodness for one good friend. She is who I played Nintendo with, her and a few of her friends because unlike others, they are up for socializing and doing something other than chilling at home by themselves or with their boyfriends.
Single life is the way to go, not only because then you can do what you want when you want, but also because you don't have to worry about the bastard cheating on you. I did not realize how many people out there are cheaters? What is the point in cheating on somebody? It doesn't make you feel successful or accomplished I wouldn't think... only makes you look like a fool for being a cheater, especially when you get caught red-handed. Seems to be the story of many people's lives these days. They're 'in love' for many years, then all of a sudden, holy shit, my man has been cheating! Guys... if you're reading this, and you cheat, don't be so stupid!! If you're gonna cheat use your brains! Don't keep emails that are bound to be found, don't go to the coffee shop right nextdoor to your girlfriend's workplace with another girl, and most definately don't take another chick back to your girlfriends house.... how stupid can you be?!? I don't agree with cheating, but damn, if you're gonna do it, be a bit more cautious! This is not me telling you to cheat, that's for sure. Because if I catch one of my friends cheating on his girlfriend, or a girlfriend cheating on a boyfriend, you better sleep with one eye opened. It's a ridiculous way to live life. If you are no longer in love or lust with a person, tell them. Be the bigger person and do what is right. Cheating only digs yourself a deeper grave! Nobody is high fiving you for trying to lie your way through it. It's not going to make you fall back in love with the person you are cheating on, so whats the point? There isn't one.
As you can tell, cheaters are not number one in my list to throw a party for.

Inhibition
What is the definition of inhibition? Well, according to the American Heritage dictionary it is the act of inhibiting.... does that make it clear? Maybe you should read the second definition to clear it up a bit more... it is the state of being inhibited. Damn, this is a good dictionary. Seriously, I thought it was not allowed to define a word with the the word being defined. (I probably could have made that make more sense, but I have absolutely no care in the world if you can't make sense of it. If you can't figure it out, you are stupid - - according to the dictionary that means 'the state of being stupid' or 'the act of stupidity').
So, inhibition? Why do I choose this word? It is because at this point of the semester I have no motivation whatsoever, only inhibition. I am at a standstill with studying. I had a test today, which I could not possibly make myself study for for more than 2 hours in the past week. I had a paper due today, and thank goodness I got it out of the way in the first few weeks of school because I definately would not have completed it. I had trouble enough formatting it and actually printing it off. I have yet another midterm tomorrow that is, as of now, unstudied for.
The only thing I am not inhibited to do is watch the television. Grey's anatomy tonight, eh eh? Sounds like another good procrastination tool.
It seems like February is the month of laziness. Every part of your body tends to shut down. As others have pointed out in the recent past, it is a month of 'blah'. Possibly it is because the middle of semester is upon us, and the last thing you feel like doing is the million and one assignments, presentations, and papers you have. Or perhaps it is the mere fact that we are living in Saskatchewan, with this absurd cold weather. It's dreary and ugly. Who wants to be energetic and motivated when you wake up to -40 degree weather every day?
Everybody should abandon this place, and move to somewhere where there is warmth and sunshine, and beaches, booze, and boys... (oooh, look it's alliteration!!) - - okay, i'd probably do just fine with the first two in the list, but the others would definately be positive factors of the equation as well.
Alright, this is merely pointless... and only being written because I don't want to, or can't make myself, study. ughh....

The Special Day
Alright, I have not been posting for awhile and I apologize. When I do post they are short, and probably incoherent, but that is what happens when you are hitting insanity with school work, family life, and all the rest. Rant of the day... Valentine's Day. Seriously, is it that important to people? To me, Valentines Day is just a commercialized holiday, an easy way of economy. It's ridiculous. Today, a girl in class was saying that she can't have a test on Thursday because it's Valentine's Day the day before... suck it up princess. I'm sorry, but we're in 3rd and 4th year of university, and nobody is going to cancel an exam for your petty excuse of having to show your boyfriend you love him. The professors don't care, and I sure as hell don't give a rat's bum that you can't spend time with your honey.
Next point of rant.... shouldn't you show that you love and care for somebody all of the time? not just on one specific day of the year? I mean, c'mon... really. Do we really have to set aside a day to let people know that we want to spend time with them? When I was in high school (yes, I realize that was a few years back) a school friend of mine ended his life. It was super hard on his family and friends. Although I wasn't an extremely close friend of his, we did have our French class together, and joked around all of the time in class. Anyway, point is, is that although the tragedy occurred in the summer months, his birthday is right before Valentine's Day. So every year when February 14th comes around, I sit down and think about how you can't just tell somebody how you feel about them on one day of the year, whether it be telling your parents you love them, or your significant other. This is because you never know when the chance to tell them how you feel, will no longer be possible. The anniversary of my grandmother's passing is 3 days after Valentines day, so this also gets me thinking. Yes, grandma was old, but it still hurts every year to know that such a lovely lady is no longer in my life. This also makes me realize how important it is to let people know you care, not just on this one day of the year, but on a regular basis.
Thus, the moral of this is that Valentine's Day is not just about giving candy, and showering your loved ones with gifts, but is a reminder that every day is a day in which we should cherish our relationships, with our parents, friends, and significant others. With saying this, Happy Valentine's Day, today, tomorrow and every day!!

Why is it when you want to stay home on the weekend there is ALWAYS something going on? And then on the weekends where you want nothing but to party hardy, there is nothing to do? It's the inevitable I guess. So, last night I headed across the street to a school buddy, Shayna's house to attend a party themed as 'Would you still love me if I wore this?' Awesome idea girls, I must say. And there were most definately some super good outfits, or should I say not so good outfits. Everything from psychadelic multi-colored shirts to underwear on the outside of the pants to pants that give one a cameltoe. Yes, you're right, not such a glorious sight, but entertaining nonetheless. The party wasn't big, but its quality over quantity. And this was one of those parties where it was just the right people, so we had a blast. And many pictures to prove it, some of which I will post at a later date. I learned some new drinking games, one of which is called 'F$#% you'. It's an easy concept, but your mind draws blanks when it comes to be your turn.... or maybe it would actually be easy if I didn't have so many Mike's Hard drinks in my tummy. And you'll all be proud to hear that even though I do not believe in going to the gym on a Saturday, mostly because I am just lazy, I got my butt out of bed this morning (11am) and went to the gym. I believed it would be a good start to my successful day of completing the multiple piles of assignments, papers, reading, and studying I must get done. I was wrong. My day has consisted of going to the gym, and complaining that my tummy is too upset to do anything other than sit at the computer and write a blog, look at pictures, check the weather, read the news, reconfigure my computer, talk on MSN, and clean my room. Oh, and talk about how I want superpowers injected in me. Yes, superpowers. That way I could drink what I want, eat what I want, and the best part of it would be just having to THINK about homework and with that it would complete itself. That will be invented when I'm in charge of the world... so stay tuned for more.

The Sadistic Professor
I knew that this class I'm taking would not be an easy class to take on. I had taken a class from this professor last year, and had found out he is somewhat sadistic, and crazy about giving assignments that take longer to complete than the amount of time given to complete them, but for some strange reason, I thought he would be more generous, possibly somewhat kind this semester. I was wrong. So, I go to my phonology class on Thursday and at the end of class the professor handed out an assignment. I knew it wouldn't be an easy, quick to do assignment by any means. As we walked out of class, he said "The point of this assignment is basically to ruin your entire weekend." And then laughed some crazy, sadistic laugh. He wasn't lying when he said this. I wouldn't doubt for a second, that I worked for at least 10 hours on this stupid assignment. Not only did he give us this assignment that was super long, he also only gave us the weekend to complete it. No mercy for us overloaded students. Not at all. You would think, that as a professor, you would be leniant and grant the students a few extra days to complete assignments and study for exams because they themselves at one point had to go through this insanely, impossible life of trying to schedule their homework so they could still yet have some sort of social life. But I am pretty sure that this professor is the kind who figures that he had to go through hell in university, and so he is not letting us get off easy. He is vicious and cruel, yes. We should have to go through hell as well. So... he is being the devil and we should do whatever it is we need to do to finish this assignment... on time.

Idiots...
We then decided to play the idiot game. For anybody who does not know what this is, you should!! It's super fun, and easy. It's like war, kinda. You flip over a card, and you have actions for the cards. so if a jack is flipped you have to yell out 'Hi Jack!'. An ace... you hit your forehead. An 8, clap your hands, a 9, yell Yo, a 10, fist to the table, a queen, slap the table, a king, tap your chest, and so on... the rest we just made up as we became pro at the first few. The first one to complete the action wins the pile of cards. So, as you can imagine, as you're trying to remember all of these signs, and attempting to do these actions without messing up, it can get pretty funny. And throughout this game, Mieka was definitely the 'idiot'.... even though she won the game in the end. Why is she the idiot? Well, let's just say that I was not the one to spill the red wine down the front of my new white shirt, and I was also not the one to yell out 'I was the first to get the clap!!' Mieka got the clap. Thanks for sharing Mieka. But, since she was victorious in the end, she wins I suppose. The pictures displayed are the two of us, just being the twits that we are.
Yep, as you can tell I have not much to say, so that is all... til next time folks.

Random Rambles
Can you believe it? I think I should get a star sticker for this one!! I think it has been a full 4 days since I have been on MSN. WOW! It is impressive, but now I find myself staring blankly at my contacts list just waiting for somebody I want to talk to to sign on. But, my dear friend Heather has saved me. She is the only other dedicated MSN geek who sits on throughout the day, when homework is pushed to the side because it is not nearly as important as talking to me. It is as if we don't see each other each and every day for at least an hour a day, and we just do not get enough girl gossip in, so we need to spend a few hours chatting on MSN as well. Oh the joys of the computer in a geeky girls life.
Well, I have not written in a few days, so what can I tell you that would be of any excitement to anybody. Probably not much. My reasons for not being on here are plausible. I am house/dogsitting for my Aunt for 2 weeks. And although the dog needs very little attention and outside peeing time, I still have to go over there to let her out. So rather than going back and forth each time, I have been staying over night so I don't need to wake up at ridiculous hours in the morning to drive over there to take the little mutt out. This dog is treated like a princess. She is royalty to my aunt. Every time she goes outside she gets a treat. Actually, she gets one treat broke into 2. That is just how it goes. Then every single time you leave the house, even if its just to take the garbage out to throw it on the back step you must give her another treat. And once a day you must make sure she gets a Dental stick.... oh, and don't forget to fill the water dishes twice aday, because God forbid she might have to drink water that has been sitting for 3 hours. And at night time, you have to let her sleep on the bed with you, which wouldn't be so bad... but, this dog HATES me. She won't let me pick her up without snarling and digging those awful sharp teeth into my hands. So, now tell me, how in God's name am I supposed to let her sleep on the bed with me? ya... thats what I thought. YOU DON'T!
More news from me, and I'm proud to say it , is that I have been making a point of going to the gym. Last week I manage to get there 5 times!! 5 whole times, thats like a world record i think!! And I went once this week already, but I think I may skip today as I got a wonderful offer from Heather to go watch a movie.... Flicka... boys and horses, my two favourite things. Okay, well horses aren't a favorite, but boys seem to be top on the list for me these days, as homework seems less important than anything. And the best part of it, is I'm goign with Heather and her little boy, Reese. He is sooo adorable!! Just picture a 3 year old trying to re-enact each and every action of Spiderman. I will have to attach a picture of the cutie pie one of these days. Just not today, as right now I have to get my butt in gear and off to class.... ughhh, the coldness... yuck. It's only -35 with the windchill, Suck it up!

The Expected and The Unexpected
I'm a Grey's Anatomy fanatic. I watch it every week, and would NEVER miss an episode. Not only is it a superb drama series which makes you laugh and makes you cry, it also has a point, always gives you a good understanding of life. Since my last few (and only) posts have all been full of complaints, tonight I'm going to be more positive. Tonight's episode made me realize that we always focus on the expected aspects in life. We have a routine, and we tend to stick to it, never deviating far from the norm of our day to day lives. We get up, we get ourselves ready for the day and we do the things we do, day in day out, every day. Then there is the unexpected parts in life. This is what gives life excitement. This is what allows you to laugh and cry; fill you with joy and fear. So why do we hold on to the expected? It is because it keeps us steady; it keeps us stable and on track. Sometimes the expected gets boring, and we want change to excite our lives, but in the end, the expected is always comforting. Then there is the unexpected. It switches our lives up a bit, it gives us something to talk about, something to laugh about, something to cry about. It gives us the energy to go out in the world, and live the next day. It motivates us because without this unexpected aspect we would deplete, lose the ambition we have in life. The unexpected is the twists and turns our lives take, which help to make our lives complete. This unexpected sometimes may seem as if it is impossible to deal with, but some how we always deal. The expected is just the beginning, the unexpected is what changes our lives. Life is short, and sometimes it just sucks but we make it through these unwanted challenges and always end up with something to smile about, a life to love. So next time you're in pain, depressed, stressed, or angered, remember we will come to a point again where life is worth living.
It's great to be alive, and I am thankful for everything I have.... friends, family, and life! Until next time....

Back to Elementary School
'Okay class, here is your assignment. I will give you the full hour today to work on it.' This is NOT what I pay the university thousands of dollars to hear. If I wanted to work in class I would have failed elementary or highscool over and over again as many times as possible. I pay to be lectured, to learn something... or at least to hear somebody babble at the front of the class even though half of the time they don't really know what they are talking about. So, I leave class as soon as she says this, with full intentions of going up to my little study area, not to actually work on my assignment, but to visit with my equally 'not-very-enthusiastic-about-homework-at-the-moment' buddies. (The picture here is one I took out the window from our comfy little 'study' area.) So after sitting around for two hours accomplishing a whole lot of nothing but gossip and girl talk, I head to my next class, Human Neuropsychology, my last class of the day. Sounds tough right? Well, it probably will be, but the atmosphere makes it sound just as much as the last class, like highschool. The professor (or should I just say teacher) walks in and says 'Good afternoon class' and you hear an echo in the room 'Good morning'. Or, wait.. it's not an echo, really its just the whole class saying good afternoon to her. Seriously, when was the last time you had to actually say 'Good afternoon' in unison unless you were at some afternoon church service (which I will add, hasn't been the case for me) or elementary school?
Then the professor goes into saying 'Oh I love when my students say that' and continues on into a life story of basically each and every class she's ever taught and then finally... after rambling on about that and hyperventalating because she gets so excited about absolutely everything she says, she finally gives us a lecture. Today, topic of the class, brain recording and imaging. Interesting I suppose, but by this time all I was thinking about is what my mommy and daddy will make me for supper since I'm revisiting elementary school.

My name stinks, but...
I lead a Sparks group... you know, a group of little stuck up, know it all, I'm the best, arrogant, whiny girls. No, really... I do love them to death, but sometimes they can drive you to complete insanity. So, yesterday was just not a good day. The last thing I wanted to do was go and hang out with my girls. I woke up at 8am to my fathers phone call, which I decided was only made because he was bored, and he wanted to wake me up on the day I wanted to sleep in. Also, my car was still MIA, my sister was nowhere to be found, and I had errands to run, with this reliable car I have. So I get ready for my day and proceed on my way to school. On the way out my apartment door, I fall on the ice patch because my landlords don't seem to understand the concept of clearing pathways when it snows so people can actually go out and in. I then run into this guy I knew from one of my first year classes, who I absolutely can not handle. He decides he should 'keep me company' all the way to school, when I much rather would have liked to go merrily on my way listening to my so called 'devil' music. Apparently Metallica is the devil... who knew? So, I get to Sociology class, to find out we are going to watch a movie... like I didn't already know that it's not the norm to grow up with only a day, that this could be a hardship for the children. I also didn't already know that a family can have only one mom, or only one dad, or a mom and a dad, or 2 daddies or 2 mommies. C'mon.... Okay, so I won't continue with the rest of my day, you get my point... it sucked. So I go to my Sparks group, and one of the girl so politely asks 'What is your real name Jewel?'. And so I tell her my name is Reena. She then asks the delightful, not so polite question. 'Ewwww, why is your name Reena?' Think my day was not bad enough? Okay. So, well my name is probably Reena because my parents decided to give me that name, and as much as I don't like it, I didn't feel like going through all of the hassle it is to deal with changing my name.... understandable? I think so. But of course the 6 year old disagrees. 'Your name is like weiners. And weiners are gross. So that means you're gross!... and then yells to the whole group... 'Look everybody, her name is Weiner! She stinks like Weiners'... alright. So I bite my tongue, and try to pretend its funny. But then one of the other very kind girls comes to me and says 'It's okay. My name is Martha. And I don't like my name. But, mom and dad liked it. So you learn to live with it. Really, I like your name.' So I conclude my night thinking... my name really isn't all that bad. Martha? who these days names their child Martha?? There are some parents out there that really don't choose well when picking names, but for the most part the moral of this story is there are just some kids who don't know how to keep their mouths closed when they really should.

The point of owning a car
This summer I finally bought myself a car... yes, it may only be a Cavalier, a car which absolutely everybody has, but none the less... it's a car!! What is the point of having a car? One would assume because they have places to go, people to see, things to do. Exactly. Yet, I own this car and I never get to do the things I need to do, see the people I want to see, and go to the places I need to go. Now I ask myself again, What is the point of having a car??' And my answer is that I want to be as kind as possible to my dear little 18 year old sister who I live with and let her take it any time she wants... to work, to her boyfriend's house, to parties. She needs a way around the city and therefore I bought a car for her to run her errands and keep in touch with her friends. NOT! This whole weekend I did not go anywhere, not that I had plans to go anywhere, but that is besides the point. The point of having a car is so that you can get around conveniently and don't have to plan things in advance. You can spontaneously pick up and go to the mall, go to Mickey Dee's, go to a friends... not me though. Apparently, I have my car for the mere purpose of letting my sister have the capacity to do all of these things instead. Yay for a car!
